This is the second volume of Analytical Ayurveda.

It presents how I have updated my earlier understanding of Ayurveda.

The first volume addressed the myths and fundamental principles of Ayurveda, exploring its tripodic and penta-constitutional philosophical view of the universe-applicable to both living and non-living entities. According to those ancient concepts, perfect humoral balance within the body signifies health and healing, whereas any disproportion leads to an imbalance of the humours, resulting in pathology.

This book is intended for the new generation who have already embraced the contemporary understanding of health, disease, and pharmacology.

This volume focuses entirely on the phytochemistry of medicinal plants and their pharmacological properties. Each chapter is organized in a way that aids pictorial memory in the reader.

It is dedicated to new Ayurvedic students and practitioners.
