Description
In the present book, an attempt has been made to present the mathematical mind of the country in a chronological order in the Vedas, Shulva Sutras, the vast Vedic literature, Jain-Buddhist mathematical texts and extensive post-Vedic literature. In this, by showing the gradual development of various formulas of mathematics, his valuable contribution to modern mathematics has been proved. Its main feature is that this development has been shown by dividing the chapters according to the subject, not according to the author. In this, along with the explanation of ancient formulas, those mathematical formulas have been presented with modern mathematical symbols, due to which those formulas become immediately understandable. Along with that proofs of those sources have also been provided. It has been proved how ancient formulas have been included in modern mathematics. The specialty of this book is the presentation of ancient beautiful examples, the contemporary social environment known from them. It has become the first book of its kind to reveal the gradual development of each theory of mathematics and coordination with modern mathematics.
