ABOUT THE AUTHOR : Dr. B.V. Raman (Bangalore Venkata Raman, 1912-1998) was a towering figure, often called the “Father of Modern Astrology,” who revitalized Vedic Astrology globally through his prolific writing, founding The Astrological Magazine, and establishing the Indian Council of Astrological Sciences (ICAS). He dedicated his life to demonstrating the scientific validity of cosmic influences on human life, bridging ancient Indian wisdom with modern understanding, authoring numerous books, and influencing generations of astrologers worldwide with his research and predictions. What many readers may not be aware of is that most of the content was written by Dr. BV Raman himself under different pen-names such as Mihira, Bhattotpala, Leon etc.
